Many people find their bathroom one of the most difficult rooms to organize, whether it’s because they lack storage or they simply find it hard to organize everything. So, we’re here with some ideas to help you get everything in order to make everyday that little bit easier! Having everything organised in your bathroom will help you save so much time (plus it’s very satisfying), and improve your quality of life over time, so let’s find out how you can get it sorted!
Get Shelving
The first thing that you should look to do when organising your bathroom is to get some shelving. Bathrooms tend to be short on floor space with the toilet, sink and shower/bath, so a great way to create additional space is to use the wall space with shelving. You can store all sorts on the shelves, from skincare products to rolled up towels, your bathroom plants or your bath products. No matter what you want to keep here, it will free up space elsewhere and just simply add a great design feature to the bathroom. Just make sure that you think about the positioning, so no one will be hitting their heads!
Organise Into Healthcare Sections
We find that one of the best ways to organise all of your products is to sort them into healthcare sections. So, for example, you’ll have all of your skincare products together, sanitary products together, your makeup products together, your fragrances together, your oral hygiene products together (make sure to check with your private dentist which products) and so on. You should get a basket for each of these things and cute labels for the front! Going for smaller baskets with fewer products as opposed to a couple of big baskets will help everything to stay organised for longer!
Add A Rod To Your Shower
Another thing you can do is to add a rod to your shower, which works best if you have your shower over the bath. This is a long space that is great to take advantage of, so you can add some kind of rod and then have little clips. This does need to be quite a strong rod to hold the weight of the products, and the products shouldn’t be massive bottles, but it can be a great little tip if you are short of space! If this isn’t possible, then you could get in-shower shelves that simply stick on the wall, which is great if you are renting and can’t add a rod yourself. This point is all about making use of the space you have in your shower!
Over The Door Hangers
A great way to save a bit of extra space is to have over the door hangers. You could get hanging storage for more products, you could store your towels here or dressing gowns. This is such a good use of space that otherwise would have been wasted, and such a simple solution that will cost just a couple of dollars or pounds!
